Positive Thinking And Its Effect On Your Health

by: Greg Riley

The first situation to consider is the relationship between thoughts and conditions like depression and stress. A crucial question is whether the person's thoughts are creating the physical depression or the physical depression is creating the negative thinking. When it comes to how you can use your mind to help, this can be accomplished consciously and subconsciously. When someone has a habit of imagining things turning out very badly, rational thinking can show show them that they often exaggerate. However, the unconscious mind is much more powerful in shaping our habitual behavior, oftentimes beyond our conscious control. Visualization and hypnosis can be very effective in modifying beliefs and, if you do this, the long-lasting effects can be more powerful than using logic only.

It is likewise true that positive thinking can have an impact on our physical health, and you may be aware of the placebo effect on people who feel ill. This is when individuals are given a pill which in reality does not have any healing value, and yet they claim to notice an improvement in how they feel. This is evidence of the connection between mind and body, and there are many examples of men and women with a positive outlook being able to recover faster from malady and injury. You can also use the power of your mind to help you in achieving your fitness goals. A historic example of this is when the four minute barrier for running the mile was broken, which had been considered as unachievable up to that point. Once the "barrier" had been broken, other runners also began to break through what had really been a barrier of belief.

The effects of aging are likewise influenced by how we think about the process. As you get older, do you talk to your friends about your "aches and pains" and your weakened capabilities? It seems there's a great deal of truth to the saying, "You're only as old as you think you are," and our thoughts can be used to undo a lot of the so-called effects of aging. Unfortunately, numerous individuals will continue to hold on to old beliefs about the unavoidable "decline" of health in old age, and not pay attention to the benefits of a positive outlook.

Now that you are aware that your attitude can bring you a much better state of health, it's up to you to take advantage of this information and set your intention to think positive thoughts whenever you remember.

Success with Passion

I really like the Internet business. I also love to write. I love to share the positive things, as well as contribute to improving the welfare of many people. Who does not love? This work makes me interact with people who are interesting and successful. Because I liked, then I do it with enthusiasm. Because I do it with great excitement and enthusiasm, this work does not feel like a job. Passion is important in achieving your success. Many people are successful because they have passion in their lives. If you do not have the Passion in a particular field, whatever you do will be a mediocre, nothing Special. Would you run all or most of your life to do the job that you dislike? What a waste of time! Love your work and achieve success there. Passion gives you motivation. Those who have a passion not easily give up, they eliminate all the spirit of fear. Because they love will work, they do not want to stop. There are always new ways to overcome obstacles who make others stop. Passion momentum they become intangible, yet powerful, making them invincible.

Many people who have great ideas but can not make the idea take off as weak in this regard. They think their ideas will take off by itself. Actually not. Precisely that is live on the runway. Having an IDEA is not enough. You must act. And worse, if you do not have the motivation and enthusiasm, an IDEA for anything would just be rubbish at your desk or in your head, without ever moving anywhere. The absence of PASSION, often the difference between failure and success!

How To Say NO In 2 Simple Ways

By Ankitaa Gohain Dalmia

Most people don't like confrontations. Saying "NO" can lead to such confrontations sometimes, so here are 2 simple ways on how to say "No" without getting your relationships massacred.
Say No, Cite Your Reason
Think of all the reasons why you WANT to say no to the other person.
Maybe you don't want to go to the mall and chase your friend from one store to another. Maybe you don't want to spend overtime at work doing your boss' work for her. So instead of that, what do you want to do?
Think like this - instead of going to the mall, you'd rather be at home finishing up your laundry or some other long overdue house work. And instead of working overtime (where most likely you're not going to be paid extra), you want to spend some long overdue quality time with your family.
And cite that reason for saying no.
Never lie. What's the point in risking any relationship with lies, huh? So simply say no, state the reason why, and do what you intend to do.
Say No, Stand Your Ground
So what if you don't have any laundry or any other long overdue housework left to do, but still you don't want to go to the mall with your BFF?
For many people, a day at the mall can be relaxing. But it can be quite harrowing to others. If you do like going to the mall, but not particularly with your friend on that particular day/time, I'd still suggest you go for it. Spend some time with your friend. Maybe it's not going to be such a frantic experience as you expect it to be.
However, if you simply don't like going to the mall (or doing something what the other person has suggested/requested), you simply have to STAND YOUR GROUND!
Just say no. If you have to explain how doing something you don't want to do messes up your mood, then do explain. But stand your ground. Don't be a pushover.
If the other person is stubborn, just maintain your calm and stand your ground. Try to make the other person see reason. If that fails, try to suggest an alternative. Maybe you can go to the mall on a weekday, instead of a weekend, when there's less crowd. Bottom-line is stand your ground.

When to Reasonably Worry?

By Steve Wickham

There is a common cost to love. For our sons and daughters, our mothers and fathers, and our endeared friends there is a burden; a reasonable worry. It is a fallacy, and a biblical false teaching, to reject this form of worry. A cost of love is the cost of life.
We must believe that to be appropriately concerned for our loved ones is God's will.
Occasionally, this will mean our thinking will be preoccupied, our feelings estranged to sense, and our actions invoking courage and grappling with, and resisting, fear.
REASONABLE WORRY CLARIFIED
The sort of worry that Jesus referred to when preaching the Sermon on the Mount - that quoted above - is perhaps a more general portion of worry related to our health, what we'll eat, how long we'll live, and what we'll wear. There are many things we are tempted to worry about that have little bearing on life or love.
Reasonable worry ought to be confined to life and love.
To worry about those things that are within our control, instead of just doing them, seems to be a waste of emotional energy.
Interestingly, those things that are out of our control-things that are usually related to either life or love-are actually valid things to be concerned about. But we convert these worries into prayers. We convert our concern into faith, which is always expressed in action.
BEING 'COMFORTABLY' WORRIED
We can expect that a level of actionable worry - the concern of familial advocacy - is pleasing to God. We have the capacity for it. We can deal with a certain amount of stress.
The Lord has given us charge over these matters. To be ambivalent about familial issues, pretending to or refusing to be concerned sufficiently enough, would be an abomination. Perhaps there are too many parents, adult children, or close friends that brush off concern because it's not 'cool', or they fear their concerns might be ridiculed. But a genuine concern about loved ones is just an honest expression of love.
We can feel vindicated, so far as our obedience to God's will is concerned, when we do something about our concerns or otherwise leave them alone if we can't.
'CONCERN' EXPLORED
Concern is like monitoring a car's fuel or temperature gauge. Monitoring, of itself, needn't necessitate worry; we are just keeping an eye on things. When indications cause an elevated level of concern, then we act if we can. There is always something we can do, even if it's just to express our concern in love.
Reasonable worry is an actionable level of concern; the motivation of love, inspired by the courage to act. Worry beyond the ability to act is pointless and failing to be concerned enough when it matters is negligence. Reasonable worry is the middle ground concern of wisdom.

Creating Luck for Yourself - How to Become a Lucky Person

By Trevor Johnson

Sometimes it seems that being lucky is something that's reserved for other people. But actually it's remarkably simple to create luck for yourself. You just need to know the tricks that will help you to become a lucky person.
1. You get what you focus on
This is effectively what the law of attraction states (albeit in a slightly different way) but it applies to all aspects of our life and that includes being lucky.
If your focus is constantly telling you that you're unlucky, that's precisely what you will get. But when you turn your focus around and start to tell yourself that you're one of the luckiest people you know, prepare to be amazed at how well this turns round your fortunes!
2. Expect to win
Expectation forms a very big part of our lives. If we expect that personal thunderstorm to follow us around, day in, day out, then that's probably what will happen.
But if your expectation is that you're going to win, that small shift in attitude gives you an edge over other people.
So expect to win and tell that nasty nagging voice in your head that you're not going to listen to its constant naysaying.
3. Develop your intuition
Much like Gibbs in NCIS listens to his gut - that's another name for intuition.
This doesn't mean that you have to be constantly living by your intuition to the exclusion of everything else around you. But it does mean that you need to start paying more attention to those small signals that can make a really big difference in your life, including how lucky you are.
4. Every cloud has a silver lining - make it your job to find it!
That well worn phrase has a lot of truth in it.
And by talking about clouds, we've come back to that personal thunderstorm that you used to have following you but - now that you're becoming a brighter person - is much closer to a small, pretty, fluffy cloud that brightens up a summers day.
Make a point to hunt down and find the silver lining in any cloud. It's there. All you have to do is dig deep enough and you'll find it.
Plus there's some extra good news - it's often very close to the surface, so there's rarely much digging involved.
5. Develop your own force field
You don't have to be Luke Skywalker to be able to use this force.
Just develop your reactions so that any negative - unlucky - remarks and situations are like the proverbial water off a ducks back.
This takes a bit of time but is great when you start to perfect it. Developing your own force field can literally turn your luck around.
6. Stop being a stick in the mud
Quite often we're less lucky than we should be because we've developed habits that constrain us and stop us from even bumping into the things that can make us lucky.

Law of Attraction - The Law of Attraction Must Include the Law of Action

By Charles Prosper

In essence, the Law of Attraction states that whatever you habitually focus on you tend to attract automatically into you life. This law is very appealing to most people because of its apparent promise of effortless manifestation of the things that we want in our lives. Hey, if we really want something, that means we are focusing on it, and since we are focusing on it, therefore it is being attracted into our lives. Right? Well, there is a little more to it than that. If it were as easy as that then everyone who has ever really wanted something would always walk away with their arms loaded down with all of the stuff they could imagine.
How We Stop the Law of Attraction from Working
There are also many things that can and do get in the way of the Law of Attraction. One of those things is doubt and worry; this is the killer for most people. Another thing that stops the Law of Attraction is the refusal to take immediate and positive action to make that which you say you want to come about. You see, the minute that you focus your energy on something, by the laws of Higher Power, that which you have begun to think about begins to move toward you with the intention of becoming reality.
The Law of Attraction is Really the Law of Opportunity
That which you attract is a movement toward you. That which you attract appears in the form of opportunity. The problem is also that many of us do not recognize the first of the manifestation of our desire because we misread the perfect opportunity when it appears, so that in hindsight we say, "I shouldn't have doubted myself and hesitated. I should have taken the risk and should have gone for it." How often do we miss our cues!
The Law of Attraction Can Only Work through the Law of Immediate Action
If fruit falls to the ground after we have prayed for food, we still have to bend over and pick it up to eat it. If the woman of our dreams is sitting next to us on a two-hour plane flight, we still have to begin a conversation and talk to her. If we get a great money-making idea to change our life situation for the better, we still have to take the leap of faith and act on it. The Law of Attraction is not the law of imposition, that is, we are never forced to realized what we have attracted.
The 2 Secrets to Get the Law of Attraction to Always Work for You
It's very simple. I think that we ironically attract opportunities for that which we pray night and day. The problem is do we see the opportunity? And do we act upon it? Put very plainly, the secret of Attraction lies in its last six letters.

Affirm the Will to Win

By Lance Winslow

Back in my younger days, I was a track star and there were other athletes who were genetically superior, had better builds, and clearly they should have won every race. But they didn't, and there was a great equalizer; Will! That's right, the will to win.
Anyone who has ever competed at the highest levels of competition realizes that you have to commit, you have to endure, and you have to push your limits. You can will your body to perform not only at optimum, but beyond its physical limits. Eventually what you learn is there are no such things as limits, except those limits you set for yourself.
It's easy to be in a competition and become intimidated, and back off. It's easy to get psyched out, or feel the presence of another athlete who is ultra-determined to beat you. The question is how strong are you in your mind? How much strength of character can you muster, to face your competitor, look them in the eyes, and not flinch? Can you bring yourself to know in advance that you will win?
The answer is yes, but it depends upon you, no one else can do this for you, and I am sure even if you hypnotize yourself, and tell yourself you are going to win, you will not be able to beat someone who truly believes in themselves, their abilities, and has committed themselves in their mind. Sometimes, I believe that human sporting competition brings out the best of the species.
Not only the strongest, and most fit, but those who are strong in the mind. Indeed, you'll need to have both, that is to say you will have to be in excellent shape, and learn the skills required to compete at the upper levels in whatever sport you choose, but you still must possess to strong will, and strength of character if you are going to be victorious time and time again. You must affirm your destiny.
Now then, it's a lot easier to watch someone else compete then actually have to go through the process yourself. Most of the top athletes make it look so easy, when they've had to endure so much to get to that upper-level. Some of them have beaten their bodies into oblivion, and got up, time and time again, and persevered through the pain and agony of defeat along the way. Still, they affirmed to never give up.
Sometimes, I wish that we could see strength of character and will in others, yes sometimes you can feel it, sense it, but wouldn't it be nice if they had a certain aura or glow around them based on their level of will and intensity, showing the strength of their affirmations coming in to fruition. Of course, it takes one to know one, and if you develop that level of strength inside, you will easily recognize it and others. Indeed, I hope you will please consider all these philosophical thoughts on sports competition and think on it. I want you to win, affirm it, be that winner.

30 Second Present Moment Exercise

By Beth Cuje

OUR FOUR CAR TRAIN
Our body, emotions, mind, and will, are like train cars. When one car goes off the track, the other three jump the track also.
Do you want a simple, but effective way to keep your self "on track?"
The secret rests with how you manage your body (stress), emotions, mind, and will/desires.
It's fair to say that a great challenge in life is learning to manage the reactions of the four parts of us so that we stay aware and present to the moment--mindful.
Imagine executing, at regular intervals during the day, a 30 second exercise where you are reminded to bring your mind to the present moment and relax.
SOME EXAMPLES
- You're at a business meeting and you remember to be present, so you take 30 seconds to scan your body, discovering that your jaw is tight and your mind is racing because soon it will be your turn to speak... so you take three deep breaths and relax your jaw, neck, and shoulders. In this case, you manage your body and get all your "cars" back on track
Or, it is breakfast time. You are eating your toast and feeling anxious about your teenager who broke curfew last night. Right then you are reminded to come back to the present moment. So you stop, label what your emotions (fear and anger) and spend the next 30 seconds breathing and relaxing your body. In this example, instead of going off the track with anxiety and anger, you interrupt that negative emotion, let go of it and shift to a more productive way of handling the situation.
- While you're talking to a friend, you remind yourself to take some slow breaths, quiet your mind, and stop your thinking about the time you have to get back home. Instead, and you're prompted to just listen to him/her. What do you think will happen? What do you think will change within and outside yourself? For sure, you will be more intimate and available with this friend.
-Your partner is criticizing you. You want to get away and avoid an argument at any cost. Instead, you take some deep breaths and remind yourself to speak the truth with kindness.Your desire to resolve the problem is greater than your need to be right. Quietly you ask him or her to listen to your side of the story.
IT'S NOT ALWAYS EASY TO DO
It is probably hard to do this 30-second exercise every minute of the day; however, doing it every hour may not be farfetched.
Is this too much? Can you take 30 seconds to scan yourself and bring your mind back to the moment you are presently living and experiencing?
It is true that sometimes things come at us so fast and furious they cannot be easily managed. However, we have nothing to lose and everything to gain if we train ourselves to manage our body, emotions, mind, and desires well.
SOME TIPS
Here are some tips to help you get the best out of every 30-second exercise:
- Body: Pay attention to your posture and if there is tension somewhere. Use slow deep breaths to manage your tensions
- Emotions: Identify if you are angry, sad, frustrated, happy, calm, stressed, etc. Research shows that just labeling the an emotions takes away some of its power.
- Thoughts: Recognize that you are stewing, rehashing, or making up hurtful ideas and pictures in your mind. Are you dwelling in the past or lost in the future? Use this as a cue to look for possibilities options, and strengths instead.
- Will/Desires: Where are you? Are you trying inappropriately to avoid or control a person, thing, or problem? Here's hint. Looking for the truth of the situation with compassion for yourself and others will always make things better in the long run..
After checking these 4 things, take a deep breath. You're done. Remember, if you get one train car back on track the other three will get on track, too.
No one can force you to do this exercise; there is no sense in that. You must set an intention to do it for a day, every hour of that day, to see what happens... believe me, it is worth it!

How You Can Learn to Create Your Own Affirmations

By Kevin Sinclair

Affirmations are effective tools that anyone can utilize so as to have a life they dream of having.
What are affirmations?
Simply put affirmations are positive statements that you say aloud and regularly. The objective is to re-program your subconscious mind so as to be able to remove negative thoughts which keep you from reaching your dreams.
Essentially they operate by overwriting with positive thoughts the negative ones that we keep stored in our subconscious mind.
What are the Benefits of Affirmations?
Each of us has mental recordings that replay in our minds over and over again. Many of them can be traced back to when we were children and they have been responsible for the action we have taken throughout our lives. Sadly, most of these old recordings are actually feeding our minds with nothing but negativity.
While these negative recordings do not always result from the direct statements of others, they are rather more general and we grow to believe them as applicable to our situation and with regards to ourselves.
For instance, if your parents used to often warn you about strangers you will probably have developed the mind-set that the world is a dangerous place. Those who come from financially secure families may exhibit limited beliefs when it comes to their own finances which actually hinder them in either attaining wealth or keeping it when they have it.
But there is good news! You can actually override these destructive messages by using the power of positive affirmations! They will reinforce the good behaviors while at the same time changing those that need to be changed. But to be able to make the changes you have to have affirmations that you identify with because that is how they are able to aid you in improvement.
What should you remember about creating effective affirmations?
1. Affirmations must be in the present tense. Our subconscious minds do not possess the ability to accept a promise of future behavior. "I will eat healthy food" will not allow your subconscious to identify a timeline or deadline for you to honor this promise to yourself.
Your affirmation must be said as though this is something you are already exhibiting, for example: "I always choose healthy food". This is in the present tense and your subconscious is then able to accept it as fact.
2. In order for affirmations to be effective they must be in the first person. So you can't say: "You must eat healthily". Instead your affirmation must be begun with "I" otherwise it simply won't matter to your subconscious.
"I will choose to eat healthy food" is an example of a personal, first person statement that your subconscious can apply to your own behavior.
3. Lastly, an affirmation must be said positively. "I must cease to eat junk food" doesn't send your subconscious mind a clear message and therefore it can just as easily be interpreted as: "I eat junk food". Rather than leading you in the direction of your goal it will do the opposite.
Rather, "I choose fresh, healthy snacks whenever I am hungry" is a better affirmation because it is positive in nature and lets your mind know precisely what behavior is desired.
How do you Use Affirmations?
To start with choose affirmations that are short and clear and pertain to those things that you want to see transpire in your life.
Here are some examples you could try out:
- I enjoy exercising daily.
- I enjoy nutritious and fresh foods in healthy portions.
- When I no longer desire to smoke I am able to breathe clean and fresh air.
- I have what I need in order to be both content and happy today.
Another method is to write you affirmations down and keep them with you where you can get to them with ease. When you have a few moments to spare you can take them out and read them aloud to yourself.
Make sure that when you say your affirmations you do so in a firm and pleasant voice, smile while you say them. This will help you to be more aware of positive vibrations that are part and parcel of the affirmation and so therefore enable them to have easier access to your subconscious.
When you use positive affirmations each and every day you are able to enjoy the benefits that come as a result such as boosting the positives in your life. Begin using these wonderful tools right now and you will be bringing about the changes you want as well.

Reasons Why Thinking Positively Will Cause Positive Things to Happen

By Samir Kunvaria

"Every day may not be good, but there's something good in every day".
"Think positive and everything will be fine" This is the most given and the best advice ever told to us. Do you really believe that it works? Why do people tell us to think positively? What difference does it make to our life or our problems? Just hang on there and i will answer your questions.
Positive thinking is not a hypothetical concept but it is a proven science. Study has shown that positive attitude impacts all the aspects of your life. The logic is simple. Thought comes before action.

Before you eat, you think that you are hungry and you want to eat. Before you walk, you think and decide mentally that you want to move from place A to place B. So thinking is base of all your action. To make your base strong, you need to have strong positive thinking.
"If you think you can do a thing or think you can't do a thing, you're right."
Henry Ford
The most common thing between all the successful people in the world is that they thought that they can get success. Most of them didn't know how they will achieve success but they knew they will. They were successful inside before they became outside. Who has more chance to win? One who thinks that he stands no chance or one who thinks that he can win?
Positive thinking is not a onetime event; it's a practice of lifetime. It is a thinking pattern we develop over a period of time. So how do we do it? Try this exercise every day. Put a reminder in your mobile for every hour till the time you are awake and whenever it rings just ask yourself what you are thinking now? Is it a positive or negative thought? Is it helping me or it is destroying me? If you come to know that you have negative thoughts than intentionally think something positive, something which makes you happy. Think about the happiest moments of your life or think that you have achieved your dreams or be just grateful for every good thing you have in life.
"A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty."
Winston Churchill
Thinking in a positive way can change your entire life. Your perception towards everything changes. Can you imagine how would it be when you only see good in everything? It is just like admiring the beauty of rose instead of complaining about thorns. It is just like thinking that glass is half full instead of glass is half empty. World is beautiful, we just need to develop positive way to see it. They say that life is too short; I would say it is short for negative thinkers. People who think positively lives and enjoy every moment of their life. Your world becomes what you think.

Positive Thought and the Law of Attraction

By Deborah Ailman

Positive thinking- we've all heard about it, most of us have probably read about it and almost ALL of us think it's a good idea. And ya know what? It is.
Think about it- why would anyone want to be deliberately miserable, thinking thoughts that just sink us further into despair? Why would we deliberately want to greet each day wit a pounding headache and an upset stomach while we ponder all the things that can go wrong as we go through the day?
Good question, right? So what's the right answer?

I really think that people think they're going to be "rewarded" the more they suffer. Somehow, someway the "suffer" police are going to speed down the road to arrive at your home or office and pin a big metal on your chest. You've done it! You've done so well at making yourself miserable that we're going to give you an award. Well done!
Now let's take a moment to recap all those terrific things you've accomplished. Let's see...here's the list and it's a long one....
Okay, you've got an ulcer now...good job. Oh, and high blood pressure...excellent... chronic headache...nice, oh and, you've managed to drive one of your children away and you have no more friends....good for you!!
Is this the kind of "reward" you really want? Do you enjoy having constant butterflies in your stomach while worrying about what every Tom, Dick, and Harry thinks of you?
If so, then don't read any further. Just take you medal and go st in that chair over there and tell it over and over again ow much you love it.
But there could be another way...
What if you woke up each morning and said a silent "thank you" just for waking up above ground? What if you looked around and stopped to appreciate the hot coffee you get from your coffee maker, and the ice cold milk you get from your refrigerator? What if you stopped to appreciate the running water you get to take your morning shower or bath? And the fact that you have clothes to wear? What if you made a list of all those things and read them over and over and found even more wonderful things to add to it?
The Law of Attraction tells us that whatever we "feel" and "think about" for prolonged periods of time tend to manifest themselves in our lives. Knowing that this great universal law is working all the time, wouldn't you rather harness its power for the good it will do you rather than the harm it can cause?
You have the choice each day. Your life is in your own two hands and in the space between your ears. What happens to you is in your control and not in the control of your grandmother, your dog or the neighbor up the block who likes to barbeque in the snow.
Take responsibility of your life today and turn it around for the better.

Does A Positive Attitude Really Make A Difference?

by: Robyn Simpson

We all have attitudes - good or bad. But how much does your attitude really have to do with whether you are successful or not? Robyn Simpson, author, international speaker, high performance attitude coach and inspirer is launching a highly motivational and inspirational book ‘Attitude, Aptitude, Altitude – Choose Your ‘Tude!’ to help people create better results in their work and life.

With the current economic climate, rising unemployment and global warming, all of these things impact us and are out of our control. So how does our attitude impact on us?

“We live in a world where outside influences can be beyond our control, however our responses to those things can make a huge difference to our general well being and happiness,” say Ms Simpson. “There are many things we do have control over, and it is our choice to take personal responsibility for those, although sometimes it feels easier to go with the flow. Successful people choose to take responsibility and make their own decisions rather than be at the effect of others.”

When asked; “If a person is made redundant, if they choose a positive attitude everything will be alright?” Ms Simpson responded “Some people are made redundant and choose to see it as a personal attack and allow their self esteem to be damaged, which can cause a downward spiral of depression. Others are made redundant and decide they will find another job and those who do so with a positive attitude are more likely to get re-employed. A small percentage of people who get made redundant see it as an opportunity to try something else like traveling, a new career or studying to up-skill. How you see this situation depends on your attitude towards it.”

“I would love to see attitudes and self responsibility was taught in schools. It would make such a difference to our communities,” states Ms Simpson. “My message is not new, however I see so many people missing it I decided to write this book to help people understand some things are really simple to change, and can make the difference between living an unhappy life or a happy one.”

More than simply a book, the 17 chapters of inspiring and practical lessons help every day people excel in everything they do. There is a 15-step ‘Structure of Goals’ process that provides readers with a logical and simple process to follow. Combined with a practical Work Book, readers learn valuable life enhancing habits that will serve them well in work and in life. No matter what the goal is, if every step of the 15-step Structure of Goals process is completed, you will progress and reach your goal. Having the right attitude is closely linked to the ability to achieve goals. Achieving goals builds self-esteem, which assists people to choose great attitudes.

Plus this book is full of resources for readers including inspirational downloads, information, websites and much more, to help continue the learning.

‘Attitude, Aptitude, Altitude – Choose Your ‘Tude!’ is attracting a lot of positive media attention. It seems the attitudes of people are changing. Those who choose great attitudes believe they can be successful and achieve great things. Ms Simpsons goal is to reach over 10 million people worldwide with this message and she is well on her way to achieving that. As she says herself, if a girl from a small town called Paekakariki can do it with very few resources – anyone can.
